If you ever wanted to feel like a professional golfer, now you have the opportunity to do it thanks to Troon and Crystal Cruises.
Troon, the world’s largest professional club management company and the cruise line have joined to deliver the new Crystal Cup, where regular golfers have the opportunity to win a 29 night cruise from Singapore to Tokyo. Luke Donald, captain of the Ryder Cup in Europe, and the LPGA star, Lexi Thompson, are joint ambassadors for the tournament and expect an unforgettable experience.
“I love traveling abroad through my work. It is important with my family, we travel so much when I am not on the road playing golf and try to experience new places and many different cultures,” Donald told Pak Gazette Digital. “It is good to see that Crystal is getting involved in golf to create the Crystal Golf with Troon, and they will establish some events in which regular golfers play some of the best courses in the world. That is always good to try to grow the game that way.”

“As golfers, we travel around the world, but unfortunately, sometimes we don’t experience it much,” Thompson added. “So starting to associate with them is an incredible experience for me. I hope that many more excellent experiences would come with a company.”
Seven states: Alabama, Virginia, Illinois, North Carolina, Maryland, New York and Texas, will have 10 local qualifiers, with three regional qualifiers in Carlsbad, California, Sanford, NC, and San Antonio, Texas later. The final will be in Sea Island Golf Resort from October 23 to 26 in Georgia.
“You will get some of the most incredible experiences worldwide in some of the most high -end golf courses. Associate with Troon, gather two brands like this, they are infinite possibilities for those two companies that associate together. So, I think it will be nothing more than great things to come,” said Thompson.

“The fun thing is to have access to some of these great golf courses that Troon possesses and operates that the general public can see, they all love to be a competition, right? So, so having the opportunity to go to these very high -end facilities, I think that is what the glass is about, it is to create something unique, something special, something a little different from what can generally be obtained,” Donald added. “I think that is great for the game and for these fans who hopefully will be part of the Crystal Cup.”
If you are below the Grand Prix, those that end near the top can still be rewarded. Each member of the two -people teams to qualify for the Crystal Cup final will receive a coupon to be redeemed against any glass cruise reserve, and the runners will receive a ticket to enjoy a European cruise for them and a guest with Crystal.

The first regional qualifier is currently scheduled for May 17 in Cimarron Hills in Georgetown, Texas, and all players will compete both in gross and network divisions, regardless of disability, in a modified struggle format.
