Karachi:
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has closed certain parts of the Pakistani airspace until May 31 and issued a notice to aviators (Notam) with respect to restrictions.
According to the Notam, the specific segments of the Airspace of Karachi and Lahore, the air traffic routes, will remain closed daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm local time, between May 1 and 31. However, Sundays are exempt from these restrictions.
Affected air routes will not be temporarily available during these hours. The Notam clarifies that flights will still be allowed to operate on these routes at other times between altitudes of 9,000 and 25,000 feet.
