The Los Angeles Lakers faced the scrutiny last June when the franchise decided to hire a JJ Redick without experience as the next chief coach of the franchise.

While Redick guided the Lakers to victory in a game against the Timberwolves in his debut as coach in October, Los Angeles fell short against Minnesota in the postseason.

The Timberwolves remained for a 103-96 victory in game 5 to eliminate the Playoffs dispute Lakers.

Several critics have questioned Redick’s decision -making during the playoff series, especially their equipment rotation management. But Brian Windhorst of ESPN suggested that the chief coach of the first year Lakers had problems regulating his emotions before game 5.

“Reggie Miller said in the transmission last night that he had to try to calm him in the meeting prior to the game because JJ was acting, frankly, childishly,” Windhorsst said Thursday during an appearance in “arriving” from ESPN.

Windhorst added that his comments were not destined to be a personal criticism of Redick.

“I do not mean this personally. JJ Redick trained very immaturely in this series,” Windhortst added. “In retrospect, JJ will realize that he did not put the Lakers in the best position to win.”

The five-time NBAs led the Lakers with 28 points on Wednesday, but continued to be a defensive responsibility. The main office of the Lakers will face several difficult decisions in this low season, since the franchise seems to avoid the elimination of first round playoffs for the third consecutive season.
