- The launch publication updates are arriving at Assassin’s Creed Shadows
- This includes new history content, missions, allies and more
- Premium content is also on its way, including Awaji expansion claws
The Ubisoft developer has presented a road map after the launch for Assassin’s Creed Shadowsdetailing the free and premium content that comes to the game in its first year.
The initial lot of content after the launch comes in early May with the first ‘fall in history’, a set of new free missions that focus on specific characters to provide a deeper background history. They can also introduce new skills of world players and activities, which gives you even more to do in the feudal Japan environment of the open world.
The one that arrives in May will title ‘the works of Luis Frois’ and explores the head Histor of Jesuit and his historical role in the Sengoku period. It arrives with an update of Codex and some improvements in quality of life as well.
This will be followed by a Parkour update at the end of May introduce expulsions of height, lateral ejections and a new vertical jump to grab low shelves. These come next to the mysterious ‘special collaboration’ (details that will be revealed on a later date) and some improvements in the photographic mode of the game.
A second fall in history comes only a few weeks later in June, with a new free and ally search to recruit, in addition to new difficulty configurations, additional immersion options, an open world alarm system and the ability to disable its hats in scenes.
In addition to all this, Ubisoft promises that additional updates are on their way with free content for Animus Hub, a new Plus game mode and a higher level limit for those who have already maximized their characters.
In terms of premium content, those who preordered Assassin’s Creed Shadows You can expect the arrival of the claws of Awaji’s expansion at some point at the end of this year, which takes place in a new region and sets just after the end of the game. He has new enemies, skills and a gun of BO staff for NAOE.
If you did not pre-order the game, the expansion will be available to buy separately. New cosmetic items will also be added to the store in the game throughout the year in ‘Store Dropps’.
If you feel like diving, Assassin’s Creed Shadows It is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. A version of Nintendo Switch 2 has also been rumored, but it has not been officially confirmed.
