- Lindy has revealed new hybrid anc headphones with a transparency mode
- They have a long battery life of 55 hours and a customizable equalizer
- Headphones only in the United Kingdom cost £ 79.99, making them a rival Sony Wh-Ch720n
The best headphones that cancel the noise tend to be quite expensive, and that left a niche to shine more modest models, such as those of the United Kingdom audio firm Lindy.
Lindy arrived early in the ANC budget market with models such as its BNX-60 2017, which we praise as a “good set of wireless headphones that cancel noise” for those with a budget. He has improved his models since then and has now launched the new BNXE with more functions and a lower price than its predecessors.
The bnxe Lindy is Over-Ears with 40 mm controllers inside, ANC and some useful customization characteristics. And that means that they could be rivals for the 1more Sonoflow Pro HQ51 (our current favorite budget noise) and the Sony Wh-Ch720N.
Lindy Bnxe: key features and prices
Lindy’s Hybrid Anc System has a new switching transparency mode that allows you to listen to the world around you without taking off your headphones, and can turn it on and turn it off through the application or use the buttons in the headphones housing.
40 mm neodymium magnetic controllers have a 20Hz frequency range to 20 kHz, so they should sound quite well. And the duration of the promised battery is 55 hours, which is long enough to fly around the world.
The application comes with a useful equalization characteristic that includes 10 prejustments and that can be completely customized, and there is a characteristic of ‘finding’ to help you locate your headphones if you forget where you put them.
All solid components are made of recycled plastics, and height leaves and the cushion of the head band are made with vegan materials.
Perhaps the most important thing, the Lindy Bnxe cost £ 79.99. That is a decent price for specification, but there is a Sony-shaped elephant in the Sony Wh-Ch720N room. They are still cheaper, and as we said in our review of Sony Wh-Ch720n they are “a comfortable and pleasant listening”, although they make you look like a Dr. Who cyberman.
