Pakistan Railways has announced that its luxury living room coaches, previously reserved for senior government officials, will now be available for the general public reserve.

Pakistan Railways has also decided to keep rates for highly affordable luxury rooms to guarantee broader public access. This decision reflects the government’s commitment to improve public transport without compromising affordability.
The luxury living room service will be available on the main intercity routes, including trains from Karachi to Lahore, Lahore to Karachi, Islamabad to Lahore and Lahore to Islamabad.
The authorities say that the measure is part of broader reforms aimed at modernizing railway trips, improving customer satisfaction and increasing non -task income through better asset use.
