I wondered about the reason behind this edition of Strands and then I noticed the date on the screen of my laptop.
Fortunately, you did not have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy today’s search, which instead pays tribute to the opening tracking, the introductory floating text piece that became a signature of all Star Wars films.
In the original 1977 version, the text, which begins “a long time ago, in a very distant galaxy …”, was designed to synchronize with the main theme of John Williams, with each new moment of paragraph with a new music section.
Unfortunately, this subtle effect was lost when the film was challenged “a new hope” and subsequently became chapter four of the nine -parts Luke Skywalker saga and the insignificant seed of the extensive 99 -party franchise.
In spite of all the Hooplah that should follow, that opening tracking was a reminder of the power of words to establish the imagination that flows and transport us to another dimension. May the room be with you.
