President Donald Trump He praised the work of his administration in a statement on Saturday and shared his “best wishes” to the competitors of the 151st edition of the Kentucky derby, an event that says represents an “iconic American institution.”
Trump issued a statement hours before the 19 -blooded field will take its place before stamping 1.25 miles around Churchill Downs, compared to 150,000 fans on Saturday night.

“When Kentucky’s first derby began in the spring of 1875-1 year before the centenary of American independence, our nation was in the middle of a great transformation. The expansion to the west was underway, our industries were booming, and the promise of the manifest destiny was overcoming in the hearts of 10,000 spectators gathered with the hope of a hope of a united, prosperous and the triumphant future United States”.
Trump’s statement continued to say that this year’s career also serves as a reminder that “we are in the first days of a new golden age.”

The race is scheduled to start at 6:57 pm et in NBC and will probably be muddy with weather forecasts that predict a 90% probability of rain.
