The Insta360 X5 has just arrived at the scene, but it seems that we could obtain another 360 -degree flagship camera very soon: dozens of images of the DJI Osmo 360 have now leaked, along with their instruction manual.
These leaks come from @quadro_News and @hakashi (through Notebookcck), and give us a very detailed look both outside and inside the camera. The images seem to be evidence of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States.
We listen for the first time on the DJI Osmo 360 that reached the FCC in October, so this 360 degree compact camera has taken a long time to arrive. Then we saw that the filtered images appear online in February, apparently showing the camera with the DJI Osmo Action 6.
The most recent filtration around this camera occurred in March, when we obtained another unofficial shot of the DJI Osmo 360, along with the news that it could well have an image sensor of 1/1.3 inches to capture high -resolution photos and videos.

Actually, we do not learn too much from the last leak, although the instruction manual mentions a 1,950 mAh battery. There is also confirmation that the camera will have a touch screen on board and will work with the DJI Mimo application.
However, Tipster @jasPerellens suggests that we don’t really see the DJI Osmo 360 after all. He points out the lack of retail leaks and continuous uncertainty about tariffs in the United States as reasons why DJI could have put this particular product in pause.
It would be a pity that DJI could not give the tastes of the Insta360 X5 and the Gopro Max an additional competition, but the times are difficult for hardware companies at this time, we know that the Gopro Max 2 has also seen several problems and delays.
Everything considered, DJI would be forgiven for concentrating on making the best drones in the business, instead of any new action chambers. However, these leaks show that DJI Osmo 360 is far away from its development path, so we will have to wait and see.
