To strongly condemn Indian aggression, promises the answer under international law

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of the missile attacks in India, calling them an “act of open aggression” and a shameless violation of the sovereignty and international law of Pakistan.

The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Shafqat Ali Khan, declared Wednesday that the Indian Air Force made attacks with confrontation weapons while remained within the Indian airspace, without a goal deliberately civil areas through the international border and the control line (LOC).

“These attacks were carried out through the international border in Muridke and Bahawalpur, and through Loc in Kotli and Muzaffrabad in Azad Jammu and Kashmir,” Khan said. “The objectives were innocent civilians, including women and children, who have been martyred as a result of these cowardly actions.”

The spokesman also warned that these attacks raised serious threats to commercial air traffic in the region and violated the holiness of international aviation standards.

“Pakistan categorically condemns this act of Indian aggression,” Khan said. “These actions are in clear violation of the UN Charter, International Law and established norms that govern interest relationships.”

He also accused the Indian leadership of using Pahalgam’s attack as a pretext to boost a false terrorism narrative and destabilize regional peace. “India has once again used terrorism as an excuse to justify military aggression, risking peace and security in the region,” Khan said.

He stressed that the irresponsible behavior of India has led two nuclear weapons dangerously close to an important conflict. “The situation is quickly evolving,” he warned.

Khan said that Pakistan reserves the right to respond at a time and place of his election, in accordance with article 51 of the UN Charter and International Law.

“The Government, the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan are united against Indian aggression,” he said, he added: “They will always act with iron resolution to safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan.”
