Adiala Road descended to chaos on Tuesday when the supporters and leaders of PTI closed horns with the police during a scheduled visit of the family of the founder of the Imran Khan party in Adiala Jail.
The confrontation quickly became multiple fights, leaving several wounded and others rounded, with party leaders accusing the police to use a hard hand.
According to the reports, the police allegedly mistreated PTI Mna Khurram Shahzad Virk, hurting him, while PTI’s chief, Whip Aamir Dogar, was moody and his clothes was torn during the shock.
The failures began near the control point of Gorakhpur, where the police tried to stop a PTI procession on the way to jail. In an attempt to challenge the blockade, Sahibzada leaders Hamid Raza and Mna Shahid Khattak supposedly pushed against the cord and assisted the workers to break.
Previously, the police had arrested the three sisters of the founder of PTI: Aleem Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Khan, along with the lawyers Salman Safdar, Salman Akram Raja and Niazullah Niazi continue beyond the control point.
As tensions increased, a multitude of PTI supporters swelled at the scene, singing slogans and gathering challenging. When MNA Shahid Khattak, CM Sohail Aphridi advisor and other leaders arrived, the situation became a complete confrontation, with intense thrust and thrust between the party’s leaders and the police.
Despite police efforts, they could not stop advanced workers. Directed by Uzma Khan, Aleem Khan and Noreen Khan, PTI supporters crossed the blockade and began to go to Adial prison.
Multiple police attempts to intercept the rally failed until a large contingent blocked them near a road restaurant half a kilometer from the prison. A second clash broke out, during which the police began to arrest active workers and load them in prison transport trucks.
The former president of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser and the opposition leader, Omar Ayub, reached the scene when the tensions decreased. The police warned that more arrests would continue if the crowd did not disperse.
There was also a shortened exchange between AYUB and SP Saddar Nabeel Khokhar.
However, the order was finally restored after two of the sisters of the founders of PTI, Uzma Khan and Noreen Khan, were allowed a 45 -minute meeting with him. Later, the Police declared that all the detained workers were released later that night.
After the meeting, the leaders and supporters of the party dispersed peacefully.
Internal directives
The founder of PTI met his sisters Uzma Khan and Noreen Khan inside the Adiala prison for 45 minutes. Aleem Khan, however, access was denied. After the meeting, the sisters informed her about the conversation.
Speaking to the media, Aleema Khan said: “Thank God, at least my two sisters were allowed to meet him today.”
She revealed that the sisters protested with her brother, urging him not to know anyone who is not on an approved list. They transmitted concerns that recent visitors had distorted their words and that their social media accounts were badly used to falsely praise the Vloggers.
