Islamabad:

After a long posture of blush and theatrical on the attack of the Pahalgama, the armed forces of Pakistan delivered an appropriate midnight break for the naked Indian aggression, laziness in military facilities and demolished at least three combat planes, including two rafale aircraft, deep within the enemy lines, security sources said in the early hours of Wednesday.

Pakistan’s jaw response occurred moments after the cowardly enemy fired missiles from inside his territory in five cities, attacking mosques in Ahmedpur East in the Bahawalpur district, Muzaffarabad, Kotli and Bagh in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), as well as Muridke in Punjab. The sources said three civilians hugged martyrdom during the strikes: a child died in East Ahmedpur in the Bahawalpur district, the sources said. Another child and a woman were martyred in Kotli, said AJK prime minister, Anwarul Haq.

The sources said that the Pakistani forces were giving an adequate response to the naked Indian aggression, while a damage evaluation was carried out. “According to the initial reports, the Pakistan Air Force knocked down three enemy aircraft, and all PAF aircraft are safe,” said a source.

Pakistan’s army also knocked down an Indian drone in the Barnala sector, the sources added.

“Our brave forces are giving an adequate response to the enemy in several places. They have destroyed a headquarters of the enemy brigade in retaliation, and an army missile attack exploded in an enemy position in the Dadyal sector throughout the loc. [Line of Control]”

According to the sources, India launched a cowardly attack in the early hours of Wednesday aimed at civilians in Masjid Subhanullah in Ahmedpur East and another mosque in the capital of Ajk. The videos of the places clearly showed that only innocent and unarmed Pakistani were attacked.

Previously, the military spokesman confirmed that India had made missile attacks. “The Indian airplane of its airspace has affected the cities of Bahawalpur, Kotli and Muzaffrabad,” said the general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR) to a private television channel. He added that the combat aircraft in the PAF air did not allow the Indian plane to enter the Pakistani airspace.

The ISPR DG said that this cowardly and shameful attack would find an adequate response and the choice of place and time for this will be at the discretion of Pakistan. The sources said India had attacked innocent Pakistani in a cowardly attack in the dark of the night, and added that “the blood of the innocent Pakistani will avenge at all costs.”

After the strikes, the authorities closed Islamabad airspace for all commercial flights, diverting three incoming planes to Peshawar. An emergency has been imposed in Rawalpindi hospitals and doctors and paramedics have been alerted.

After the cowardly attack by the vile enemy of India in five places in the dark of the night, the airspace of the New Islamabad International Airport was closed and three flights were deviated in the air to other airports, including Peshawar.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement following the attack of India, condemned the aggression, saying that Pakistan reserves all the rights to respond strongly.

“The tortuous enemy has carried out cowardly attacks in five locations in Pakistan,” he said, adding that a blunt response was being given.

“The whole nation meets the armed forces of Pakistan, and the morals and spirit of the Pakistani people are high,” he said.

He added that the people of Pakistan and the Armed Forces know well how to deal with the enemy. “We will never allow the enemy to succeed in his dire designs.”

Meanwhile, Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the closure of educational institutions in the province.

In a related development, a key meeting of the National Security Committee has been convened, according to Federal Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar.

The minister said that Prime Minister Shehbaz has convened a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) at 10 am today. High level consultations on the national security situation will be made, with great decisions regarding the expected national security.

“A crucial meeting has been called to frustrate the enemy’s designs,” added the minister.

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif delivered a clear warning of the headquarters of the country’s main espionage agency that any Indian attempt to violate Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity would be a decisive response.

Shehbaz visited the headquarters of intelligence between services (ISI) in Islamabad along with the members of the senior cabinet amid continuous tensions with India.

The prime minister was accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Defense, and the Heads of Services in a carefully elaborated movement to convey a strong message to the India that Pakistan was ready to deter any misfortune from the other side of the border.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office said that, in the ISI central office, detailed information was given to the participants about the prevailing security environment, with a particular approach in the preparation for the conventional threat in the light of the increasingly aggressive and provocative position of India along the eastern border of Pakistan.
