The Faisalabad Police Department has published its annual analysis of comparative crimes for the 2024 and 2025, showing significant progress in crime prevention, response and application.
The data paint a promising image of a better public security, with strong decreases in almost all the main categories of crimes and a stronger action against illegal activities.
According to the report, Faisalabad witnessed a dramatic reduction in violent and real estate crimes during the past year.
Dacoity incidents, together with the murder, were reduced by half in 2025 compared to the previous year.
Similarly, independent dacotity cases fell by 59 percent, and robberies decreased by 20 percent.
The crimes related to the outburst and theft of vehicles also saw a remarkable decrease, with a theft of cars falling into 62 percent, the motorcycle out of the motorcycle in 24 percent and the theft of theft of cars and motorcycles decreasing by 14 and 27 percent respectively.
These reductions reflect the greatest efficiency of police force, helped by smarter patrol strategies and greater community participation.

The department made notable advances to attack large -scale traffickers, increase Charas seizures for more than 5 kilograms by 29 percent and heroin of more than 1 kilogram by an impressive 97 percent compared to 2024.
The arrest of high profile criminals, categorized as proclaimed criminals (POS) of category A, also improved.
A total of 630 category A POS were arrested in 2025, marking an increase of 17 percent compared to the previous year.
These arrests included people involved in serious crimes such as murder, dacoity, host of rescue and vehicle outburst.
The efforts to control the spread of illegal weapons remained a priority. In 2025, the Police registered 1,345 cases related to illegal weapons.
Seizures included 1,080 guns, 93 rifles, 79 weapons, four revolvers and more than 4,800 cartridges.
This repression played a key role in reducing the circulation of illegal firearms, contributing to the general fall of violent crimes.
Children’s security and public assistance services also showed encouraging results.
Of the 451 reported cases of lost children, the police successfully brought together 442 children with their families.
In the domain of domestic violence, 96 cases were recorded, with 23 canceled, 27 under investigation and 46 formally challenged, reflecting active legal monitoring.

With an increase in arrests, the efficient management of emergency calls and specific operations against narcotics and illegal weapons, the department has established a high level for urban surveillance.
