The founder of Stop Antisytism, Liora Rez, asked FIFA and the FIFA World Cup Task Force for the White House Cup World Cup to put an end to the “Show Israel The Red Card” campaign before the global football tournament.
The campaign began in February in a UEFA Champions League match in Scotland. Celtic FC fans deployed a banner that asked FIFA and UEFA, the Confederation of which Israel is part, to punish the national team of the country for their response in Gaza to the terrorist attacks of October 7 of Hamas of 2023. There was no penalty against Celtic FC or its fans for the banner.
Since then, CBC reported that the campaign has spread in other European countries, including Italy, Spain and Belgium, along with Brazil, Chile, Malaysia and Tunisia.

Rez said FIFA has done nothing to fight the problem.
“We have not seen absolutely anything, which is very alarming,” Digital’s Pak Gazette told Pak Gazette in a recent interview. “We have seen the FIFA chief say and make, again, absolutely nothing. We have not seen any of the penalized or eliminated fans of the games holding these signs. So again, we want the working group that President Trump to establish to intervene in advance and be proactive and say, no, this is not welcome in the United States. This will not fly here.”
Rez added that the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, should take a “strong position” against the campaign.
“I think it has to be eradicated immediately,” he said. “Gianni Infantino needs to take a strong position and say: ‘Bantotry and Bias against the only Jewish country in the world is not welcome in any type of organization to which I go.’ He still has to do that.
“And because he has not done so, we are asking President Trump’s working group to intervene and demand that this type of bias, isolation and vilipendio of Israel be welcome in the United States. Americans will not defend it.”

Pak Gazette Digital contacted FIFA and UEFA to comment.
President Donald Trump took advantage of Andrew Giuliani, son of the former mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, as executive director of the Task Force.
In March, Trump signed an executive order established by the working group for the football tournament, which will be organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico. Trump will serve as president of the Task Force, while Vice President JD Vance will serve as vice president. As executive director, Giuliani will have the task of managing and supervising daily operations.
Trump also announced on Tuesday that Carlos Cordeiro, main advisor to the FIFA, will serve as the main advisor in the task force.
The working group was created to lead federal efforts in support of the FIFA 2025 Club World Cup and the FIFA 2026 World Cup.

“We hope that Andrew Giuliani, as head of this working group, really intervenes and works with Gianni Infantino to say: ‘This rhetoric is not welcome here, you need to make a statement. And we are not going to be welcome anti-Semites, anti-which, anti-first, pro-terrorists, if they are fans or players, in this country,” he said.
