The Armed Forces of Pakistan made attacks directed in response to the unpaved Indian aggression along the control line (LOC), destroying multiple Indian positions, including a key military position and a battalion headquarters, according to security sources.

In the Hajipir sector, Pakistan’s army retalled after the Indian forces initiated indiscriminate shots, destroying the “Jhanda Ziyarat” position. “The destruction of Jhanda Ziyarat Post inflicted significant losses to the enemy,” security sources said that the action was part of a measured and effective response to the ongoing provocations.

On the basis of this response, the Pakistan army also hit a headquarters of the Indian battalion located in Nanga Tak in busy Kashmir, causing substantial damage and losses, said state presenter PTV, citing security sources.

In a statement published in X, PTV confirmed that Nanga Tak headquarters was damaged as a direct response to the Indian military shot. The station cited the officials saying that the response was calibrated to neutralize the hostile infrastructure used to facilitate the violations of the high fire.

Security sources added that Pakistan has previously destroyed several Indian military facilities in similar retaliation operations, underlining their commitment to safeguard territorial sovereignty and deter a greater escalation.

“Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and fully prepared to defend the nation. Any future aggression will be fulfilled with a forceful and proportional response,” security sources added.

Meanwhile, the information minister, Attaullah Tarar, has denied that Pakistan has launched attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistan has not directed any place in Jammu & Cashmira, illegally occupied with India, or through the international border, so far. Nor has been incurred by PAF,” Tantar in a position in X said.

“Indian Media is always spreading misinformation to create a success (false) notion before publicly accepting its shameful losses during their aggression not caused on May 6, 2025.” We have only given a defensive response so far! The international community can take note. “
