The general director of Public Relations of Inter Servicios (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, addresses international media amid increasing tensions between Pakistan and India, which raises concerns about the rapid guilt of India after a recent incident.
Speaking at a joint press conference in Islamabad on Friday, Lieutenant General Chaudhry was flanked by the public relations of the Director General of the Pakistan Air Force, Vice Mariscal del Aire Air Aurangzeb Ahmed and the attached chief of Naval Personnel (Operations), the rear admirer Raba Nawaz. The senior military officials informed the media about the situation evolving in the control line (LOC) and the broader regional implications.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry questioned the credibility of New Delhi’s response, pointing out how the Indian government identified the alleged perpetrators “within 10 minutes” of the incident. He said that this rapid conclusion echoed a family pattern of premature accusations in past incidents.
“Such a hurry raises serious questions about the intention,” he said, suggesting that the measure was designed to divert attention from the internal problems of India.
The ISPR chief also condemned what he described as the continuous cross -border aggression of India, accusing Indian forces to deliberately attack civilians, including women and children, in recent incidents.
Pakistan’s military leadership reiterated his commitment to peace, but warned against the continuous provocations, urging international observers to take note of the situation.
