The Lieutenant of DG ISPR, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, reported on Saturday that India launched six ballistic missiles of the Adampur Air Base in Punjab Indio. Of these, a missile landed near the general area of Adampur himself, while the remaining five attacked in the Amritsar region.
The ISPR DG characterized the incident as an reckless movement that endangered civil life and raised serious questions about the operational intention of India and internal orientation protocols.
He said: “India is attacking their schemes, the populations of SIJS in the Indian punjab. All our sympathies are with the Sikhs and the minorities that are victims of their own internal conspiracy (of India). This is a shocking development and provocation of the highest order, where India has begun to shoot ballistic missiles with its own population, which makes no meaning.
Earlier on Friday, the DG ISPR challenged India to present evidence, if you have any, of Pakistan’s attacks against Indian military facilities with drones and missiles. “Pakistan has not used drones or rockets. If India states otherwise, allow it to present evidence,” he challenged, criticizing the Indian media for spreading “manufactured stories.”
Speaking in an informative session for foreign media, he said that the reprisals of the Pakistani army against the aggression of India were limited to the Indian military positions that fired in civil areas throughout the control line (LOC).
Lieutenant General Chaudhry joined the General Director of the General Director of PAF (DGPR), the Marshal Vice Chamber Aungzeb Ahmed, and the deputy director of Naval Personnel (operations) of the rear of Admiral Raba Raba Nawaz.
Chaudhry said the Indian forces are involved in terrorist activities not only in Pakistan, but in countries like the United States and Canada.
“There is a credible evidence of the Indian managers who assign terrorist tasks to the militants operating in Pakistan,” he said, added that intercepted communications have been documented between Indian soldiers and terrorist agents.
He denounced the Indian media, stating that he continually spreads falsehoods. “Indian journalists such as Barkha Dutt have used their platforms to amplify erroneous information,” he said. He cited a recent case in the United Kingdom where an Indian diplomat falsely accused a person who performed a funeral terrorism prayer.
He also refuted India’s claims that link Pakistan with the recent Pahalgam incident. “Pakistan has no connection with that event. If India believes otherwise, he should agree an independent investigation,” he said.
“Pakistan is the final barrier against terrorism in the region,” DG ISPR concluded. “We do not support any terrorist organization. We are its victims, and we fight, not only for ourselves, but for regional peace.”
