- Apple Watch future is expected to present a camera
- Previous rumors indicate that both the series and ultra models could use AI to provide context to the world around the user
- A new report says that Apple chips for products could be ready in just two years.
After the reports that Apple could add a camera to its Apple Watch alignment in the future, a new report states that the chips for the device could be ready for its launch by 2027, which suggests that the main update could be much closer than we thought.
Previously, it was revealed that Apple is planning an important update to its best Apple watches, becoming a device with cameras on board. The report indicated that Apple Watch would use cameras and microphones on board that “would help the device see the outside world and use AI to deliver relevant information.”
Now, the same source, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, says that the chip that drives that device could be just 18 months away. “The company is developing a chip called Nevis for the Apple Watch equipped with the camera and a component called Glennie for the AirPods equipped in a similar way,” Gurman wrote in his latest Power On Boletter. “Apple aims to have those ready -to -win chips,” he continued.
Apple Watch cameras near?
While we knew the expected 2025 Apple Watch alignment, the Apple Watch Se 3, Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 would not have cameras, since Gurman had previously suggested that an Apple portable portable equipped with camera was “distance generations.” It turns out that there could be two generations away, which means that for most users, the next Apple Watch you buy could have a camera.
As we have indicated above, a portable smart watch could provide users with contextual information about reference points that they see on vacations, instructions and more. It is a concept that sustained some failed wearables such as the human’s pin, and would strongly bow in Apple’s excellent intelligence function, visual intelligence.
In the longest term, it could be part of a future recently mentioned by Eddy Cue de Apple, who commented on the bracelet that we might not need the best iPhones within 10 years. Cue made his comments in the context of the rapid evolution industry, so it is important not to extrapolate too much from them. However, a smart watch with AI, or perhaps light smart glasses (in which Apple is also working), could be one of those devices that unlocks that future without iPhone.
A more cynical approach would reveal that Apple and Cuem’s comments are probably just a trick to prevent the United States Department of Justice from exceeding $ 20 billion with Google for the predetermined place as the iPhone search engine, presumably in the hope that the court will be less likely to intervene if you believe that the iPhone is a dying race.
Apple seems unlikely to discard its obscenely successful iPhone ecosystem in favor of a portable niche that remains an iPhone accessory at this stage. Most likely, an Apple Watch equipped with the camera is one more feature in the iPhone’s already understandable partner: in other words, another reason for users to consider the elimination of one of the best iPhones.
Even so, mark your calendars by 2027, since it seems that there are great changes in the way.
