SC seeks ECP answer in the PB-21 dispute


Islamabad:

The Supreme Court has ordered the Pakistan Electoral Commission to present its response in the case on an electoral dispute in PB-21.

A three -member bank headed by Judge Shahid Waheed heard a petition presented by Saleh Bhotani. The ECP lawyer Khwaja Haris informed the court that a case related to PB-21 is currently in trial in the Electoral Court.

Judge Waheed said the issues are separated and ordered the ECP to present an answer.

The ECP lawyer mentioned that Bank SC had ordered the ECP to decide the case in accordance with the law.
