Denise Alexander, better known for his role as Lesley Webber in General HospitalHe has died at the age of 85.

“I am very sorry to hear the death of Denise Alexander. She broke barriers on the screen and out of the screen, portraying Dr. Lesley Webber, one of the first medical women on daytime television, for almost five decades,” he wrote.
Frank also wrote: “It meant a lot that his role in recent years and I feel honored to have had the opportunity to work with her.”
“On behalf of the whole family of the General Hospital, I extend my sincere sympathy to her family, friends and fans of a lifetime. That she rests in peace,” he added.
Denise began his career as an actor in 1945 as a children’s artist at age 6. Throughout his decades, he appeared in several television soaps, including The transparent horizon and General Hospital.
