At an emergency press conference held at Lahore Press Club, Punjab Minority Minister of Punjab and President of the Pakistan Pakistan Committee Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arara, strongly condemned an alleged strike of Indian drones in the sacred site of Nankana Sahib.

By qualifying a shameless violation of international law, religious freedom and human rights, Arora demanded immediate international attention to what he described as a provocative act.

The press conference attended the president of the Press Club of Lahore Arshad Ansari and the prominent SIJS figures, including Sardar Bishan Singh, Satwant Kaur, Sardar Jaskararan Singh and Kalyan Singh Kalyan.

Arora accused India of deliberately attacking mosques, religious sites and minority communities as part of a broader conspiracy for malignant of the peaceful image of Pakistan on the global stage.

He dismissed Pahalgam incident as a “manufactured and orchestrated drama” intended to deceive the international community by falsely involving Pakistan.

Highlighting the long -standing link between Pakistan and the SIJ community, Arora said that Sij pilgrims from all over the world who visited Pakistan during the recent Baisakhi Festival had praised hospitality and religious tolerance of the country.

In addition, he declared that India was trying to encourage hate between Muslim communities and SIJS and participating in the psychological war against Pakistan.

He categorically rejected the Indian accusations regarding the attacks against Amritsar and the golden temple, calling them without foundation and misleading. “Pakistan has a deep respect for the religious feelings of his SIJ brothers and would never consider such actions,” said Arora.

The minister reiterated that religious minorities in Pakistan enjoy complete freedom of worship, and that the State treats all religions and communities with equal dignity and respect.

He urged the United Nations and international human rights organizations to take an urgent notice of the aggression of India and his hate campaign against minorities.

Speaking at the event, the president of the Lahore press club, Arshad Ansari, criticized the Indian media for spreading the poison and reaffirmed the support of the Pakistani media to the State and the Armed Forces. He added that the doors of Lahore Press Club remain open to all religious minorities, especially the SIJ community.

The Sij leaders present at the conference echoed Arora’s concerns and said that Pakistan is a peaceful nation committed to the protection of minorities and interreligious harmony.

They averaged full support for the Pakistani armed forces and warned that any act of Indian aggression would meet a strong response.
