I am writing this from the United Kingdom, where we have Mother’s Day at the beginning of the year, but it still didn’t take me a long time to detect the subject here. Above all, it was because I found flowers first, and together with the track of ‘Happy …’ it was quite obvious.
Finding the remaining words was more difficult. The drawings, in particular, really surprised me, until I remembered that children also give gifts to their mothers on this day, not only the old geezers like me.
I am quite sure that I have never made my mother breakfast on Mother’s Day, but, again, only she only eats Gachas in the morning, and I don’t think it really works in that regard. “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom, here is a bowl of heated oatmeal!” No, I think I would prefer flowers and hugs.
