A pc of pocket Windows on a folding keyboard may sound like a conceptual device, but a new Chinese mini machine seems to be very real.
Designed by a company called Linglong, this folding folding mini adapts to a jacket or pocket pocket (large), develops on a full -size keyboard and runs a Windows 11 Pro desktop from Windows.
With a weight of less than 800 gy approximately the size of a quarter sheet of paper A4 when folding, the unit is aimed at anyone who wants portability without sacrificing functionality.
Decent Puerto Selection
Once open, the PC reveals a complete QWERTY keyboard with physical switches and a chassis made of mechanized aluminum by CNC.
There is no tactile panecillo or Thinkpad in the signaling style, so a separate mouse is required, but the mechanical trip and durability, classified to 100,000 keys of keys, suggest that it is built for serious use.
In the heart of the system there is an AMD Ryzen 7,7840u processor, together with 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5 and 512GB or 1 TB of storage.
The graphics are handled by Radeon 780m based on integrated RDNA3, and an internal battery of 16000 mAh feeds the device for up to 10 hours.
Despite its small form of form, the unit includes a respectable port selection: USB4, USB-C 3.2 and USB-A 3.2, together with Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 and a USB USB viewing option compatible with HDMI.
The device admits multiple screen and can be attached to serve as a travel station, games center or media center.
An incorporated monitoring utility sample Load of CPU and GPU, temperature and other statistics in real time.
Only available in China for now (I share its disappointment), the Linglong mini PC reminds me of the Orange Pi 800 keyboard computer.
While it lacks global availability or official support for Western markets, it is an ambitious reinvention of how portable computer science can be and I can only expect you to receive a broader launch or arouse similar designs in other places.
