The CEO of Lahore Qalandars, Atif Rana, expressed its optimism that the remaining parties of the Super League of the Pakistan (PSL) will be carried out in Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Cricket Board (PCB) announced last week the indefinite postponement of the remaining PSL 10 games in the light of the deteriorated regional security situation.

However, after Pakistan and India reached an understanding of a high fire, the sources told PakGazette News that the PCB is expected to make an important decision on the remaining parties soon.

Speaking in the PakGazette News program “PakGazette Pakistan”, Rana said that the franchises have unanimously asked the tournament to continue within the country.

He pointed out that the packed stages would project a positive image of Pakistan to the world, emphasizing that the complete return of the tournament to local land would be a significant achievement.

“The final call on this matter will be carried out by the president of PCB [Mohsin Naqvi]”Rana clarified, expressing his confidence in the leadership decision.

When commenting on the performance of his own team, Rana said that Lahore Qalandars has a remaining game, and a victory would see them to the playoffs.
