Shedeur Sanders posted a photo of himself with his teammates at the Cleveland Browns’ rookie mini -signs on Sunday when his NFL trip began with the hope of making the final list this year.

Sanders and Dillon Gabriel are only two of the five quarterbacks on the list. Both players were selected during the NFL 2025 draft. They joined Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett as the active players on the list. Deshaun Watson is expected to lose the whole season after rupting his Achilles in the low season.

The number 5 selection of the Browns, Mason Graham, also participated in Minicamp during the weekend.

“Grateful for each player, apart from our rookie mini -signs. They made great relationships during our time together,” Sanders wrote in X.

Sanders was the last player to leave the field on Friday, according to Atlético.

He tried to remove any attention from the very public Draft slide that saw him move from a projected general selection No. 2 to a fifth round selection. However, he promised that he was going to have a similar story, just like his mentor, Tom Brady.

New England patriots chose Brady No. 199 in the 2000 draft. He was pushed to the initial role in 2001 when Drew Bledsoe fell with an injury. It became a record field marshal with seven Super Bowl titles.

“My story is going to be similar,” he said. “It was a draft selection of the late round, but now we are here, so none of that matters. That only matters that day, and I am excited to be here and ready to work.”
