Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Design and screen
- Only 5.8 mm thick and 163 g
- It has a 6.7 -inch screen
- Protected with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2
We have widely known how the Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGE looks for a long time, with Samsung’s mockery in January showing a thin construction, a flat screen, a camera of holes in the front and a double lens camera in the back.
Now we know the rest. To begin with, the Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGE has only 5.8 mm thick and weighs 163 g. As a comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus (which has the same size screen) has a thickness of 7.3 mm and weighs 190 g.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 edge also has an IP68 classification for dust resistance and water, and its screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, which is designed to be thin and lasting.
It has a titanium frame, and comes in a titanium option Icyblue, titanium silver and titanium jetblack tones.
As for the screen, they are 6.7 inches, which, as noted above, makes it the same size as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus screen.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: cameras

- 200MP main camera
- 12MP Ultra-Wide
- 12MP front camera
One of the potential commitments with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge are its cameras, since it only has two in the back. But its specifications are not compromised, with the main 200 MP sensor. In addition to the great angular shots, this is also capable of optical quality zoom 2x.
There is also a 12MP Ultra-Wide camera, a 12MP front camera and support to record videos as up to 8K.
As with other recent Samsung Galaxy S models, you will also find all kinds of tools here to help you take and edit photos. These include the tastes of Generation Edit, which allows you to make changes in the images and the audio draft, which allows you to eliminate the unwanted background noise of the videos.
The Galaxy S25 EDGE also benefits from the provisional engine of Samsung, which can help increase the image quality.
Even so, although there is a lot here, the edge lacks a dedicated teleobjective camera, which is something that you would generally get with a phone of this price.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Performance and Software

- Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy Chipset
- 12 GB of RAM
- A 3,900 mAh battery with 25 w loading
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGE is equipped with an Snapdragon 8 elite for the Galaxy chipset, just like the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. However, that is not bad, since it is a high -end chipset.
That joins 12 GB of RAM and an option of 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGE also has a 3,900 mAh battery, which is quite small for a phone of this size, and it is likely to be one of the commitments made to be so thin. As a comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 has a slightly larger 4,000 mAh battery, but that has a much smaller screen. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus of equivalent size, on the other hand, has a 4,900 mAh cell.
Despite this, Samsung states that the Galaxy S25 Edge will offer life throughout the day, but it will be interesting to see how well that statement is maintained when we put the phone to the test for a complete review.

Leaving aside the capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is charged to 25 W, which is a stand for the standard Samsung S25 but not as fast as the 45W Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Plus. There is also a 15W wireless load and an inverse wireless load of 7.5W.
In the front of the software, the Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGE, of course, runs Android with the superposition of UI One of Samsung, which includes features such as Now Brief, which provides personalized reports throughout the day. For example, your morning information session can include things like weather and how well you slept (if you tracked your dream).
Finally, Samsung promises that the Galaxy S25 EDGE will obtain seven years of security updates and operating system.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Early verdict

Passively for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGe certainly sounds intriguing. Our main concern here is the battery life, since despite Samsung’s guarantees, it is difficult to believe that life will really offer throughout the day with such a small capacity.
Even if it does, it is unlikely to be competitive with other phones on this front. But it is not impossible that through some software magic, Samsung has delivered a good resistance, we will discover it once we have tried the phone ourselves.
Beyond that, the lack of a telephoto chamber is a slight disappointment, but expected, and at least the main sensor of 200MP sounds promising.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 EDGE sounds as well as the rest of the S25 series, much thinner. It remains to be seen if that thinness will result in sales.
