Hunter Mahan registered his best final in the PGA Championship in 2014, ending in a draw for seventh place that year.
Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, will be the host of the professional golfers for this year’s PGA championship.
The opening round is directed on Thursday, but Mahan is already sharing an interesting observation about this year’s golf course.

While the 42 -year -old was satisfied with the general condition of the course that led to the second specialization of the 2025 season, he also thought he needed more, referring to a famous family from list A in his discussion about the deficiencies of the course.

“I guess I would say that Quail Hollow is like a Kardashian,” Mahan told The Athletic. “It is very modern, beautiful and well stored. But it lacks a soul or a character.”
On the other hand, Dean Burmester also intervened in Quail Hollow, describing the course as a “monster” and admitting that he had only experienced the course through the pixels.
“I have not seen it, but I have played it in PlayStation several times. It’s a monster, right?” Burmester said.

Burmester finished the PGA 2024 championship in a six -band draw with Rory Mcilroy and others for the 12th place. Mcilroy won the Masters last month to win his first race jacket.

While the PGA championship changes the courses every year, many golfers in the PGA Tour probably have some familiarity with Quail Hollow. The place was the host of the PGA championship in 2017. It also hosted the Wells Fargo championship on numerous occasions and was also the site of the 2022 president Cup.
Xander Schauffele won the PGA championship last year, which took place at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
