The National Hockey League announced on Tuesday that a minority owner of the Florida Panthers has been suspended due to its activity in social networks.

Doug Cifu got into a dispute with a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs that became an argument on the conflict of Israel-Palestina and Cifu mentioning Canada as the “State 51”.

Florida and Toronto are currently facing the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The series is tied in two games each with game 5 in Toronto on Wednesday night.
