- NVIDIA RTX 5060 Partner Gpus have been seen in Best Buy before launch
- Asus and PNY models were seen before being retired
- The highest price for an RTX 5060 Overclockeado was $ 409
NVIDIA RTX 5060 will be launched on May 19, just before one of the world’s largest technological events, Computex 2025, begins on May 20. However, it seems that we could have an early vision of the 8GB GPU price.
As reported by WCCFTECH, ASUS TUF and Prime RTX 5060 GPU were seen in Best Buy (by popular leaker @momomo_us in x) before the launch. The most interesting thing is that the ASUS TUF RTX 5060 OC edition appeared for $ 409, which is close to the launch price of RTX 5070 of $ 549.
This occurs after one of the Radeon Rx 9060 xt partner cards of his Rival AMD leaked in a list in a Swiss retailer, with a high price for a low -end GPU. However, it is important to keep in mind that this price is more than a position score for now, at least that is what we expect.
On the other hand, that might not be the case of the NVIDIA GPU. The other Asus RTX 5060 listings (which were as low as $ 339.99) are representative of the prices expected for a budget GPU, and are also consistent with the price of $ 409 for the overclocked model (since most GPU OCs are sold at higher prices).
It is also worth noting that PNY’s RTX 5060 Overclocked was also seen in Best Buy, at $ 299.99, which could be a more reasonable proposal for players with a budget.
These listings (which have now been eliminated) can be inaccurate with the prices of position markers, but it would be difficult to see that retail prices are much lower. That said, we would not like to see a price greater than $ 299.99 for a graphics card that uses 8 GB of VRM in 2025.
Like the Acer Nitro Radeon Rx 9060 XX listings, this will be dead upon arrival if it is true
I hate to sound like a broken record, but 8 GB of VRM are not enough for games in 2025, and there is enough evidence around to prove this; of poorly optimized ports, hungry titles of VRM and more games such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows Force RTGI (global lighting with rays), frame speeds and softness are not up to 8GB graphics cards.
Computex 2025 and the launch of RTX 5060 are now just a few days away, so they are still the first days. However, I am willing to believe that Team Green’s partner cards on this occasion will have a price at absurd levels, especially when you consider the terrible state of the GPU market.
I can almost guarantee that if any RTX 5060 GPU (including RX 9060 XT 8GB) of AMD is launched at $ 409 or more, it will not be sold well, regardless of consumer despair. That is not me being hard or pointing to Team Red or Team Green; That is just reality.
Players need a more powerful hardware to execute newly released and demanded games graphically, and if they still have to spend both for a weakest GPU that will make too many commitments to play modern games compared to the tastes of an RTX 5070 TI or RTX 5080, then I can imagine that there will be a batch of angry PC players …
