- Intel made fun of a new Battlemage arch GPU, asking the fans of the games that “are attentive”
- It is expected to be revealed in Computex 2025 together with the new GPU ARC Pro and AI
- It could be a great opportunity for Team Blue to catch up with its rivals, with a more powerful high -end GPU compared to ARC B570 and B580
With the Computex 2025 now on us, it is almost the time for many technological revelations of PC of hand games, processors and GPU, and Intel has hinted at some large revelations to challenge their rivals, Nvidia and AMD.
In an X post, Intel announced that he will reveal new GPU ARC Pro and AI in Computex; The most important thing, only a new Battlemage GPU is hinted, with ‘stay responses’ to users who flooded the responses with GPU requests allegedly such as the ‘ARC B770’ for the players.
Multiple rumors have been generalized with respect to the Blue team that can release a high -end GPU as an update of its previous GPUs (reported by Videocardz), after its GPU ARC B570 and ARC B580 launched at the end of last year.
One in particular apparently revealed Intel’s plans for a new ARC B580 with 24 GB of VRM, which is a significant update of the 12 GB of the current model. It is also expected to go with other 24 GB Pro GPU for work stations.
Thanks to Intel’s new teasers, these rumors now have more credibility, although it is not exactly clear if it will present both a new ARC B580 24 GB GPU and a completely new B770 ARC, or only the latter alone. However, a clear thing is that players will get a new Battlemage GPU, and one that is more powerful than any of the previous offers of the Blue team, and a revelation of Computex 2025 seems imminent.
Intel has the opportunity to close the gap and reach Nvidia and AMD
It is no secret that despite the successes and the impressive performance of the games of both Intel Arc B580 and Arc B570, Team Blue still has something to catch up with Nvidia and AMD. Fortunately, this rumored GPU seems to be the beginning of that.
Its two recent Battlemage GPUs are not high -level GPU, but they still manage to provide great performance results to 1080P and 1440P resolutions as budget options, but now it seems that Intel is making an effort to provide GPU that are closer to medium or high level (or in the least more powerful GPU than what is available).
While nothing is guaranteed, I hope this is the case because affordable GPUs need a greater approach to budget players; Radeon RX 9070 and 9060 series of AMD are an excellent example of this (despite the inflation problems of couple cards).
I still maintain my low expectations, since I anticipate that there will be no high -end GPUs’ like the rumored Arc B580 24GB could suggest; At least, I do not see any of the new Intel GPUs that coincide or compete against the tastes of an RTX 5070 TI.
However, rumors indicate that Intel is potentially cooking something that will make players take more seriously when it comes to the GPU market, and I hope it is a big surprise.
