While Jt Miller is widely known as Hockey Star, he recently took a chance in golf.
Miller competed in a US 2025 open qualifier on Tuesday, and the cut was lost.
Miller, in his second period with the New York Rangers, finished the classification event in Pennsylvania with a 4 above 76. Miller was four shots of advancing to a playoff for a shot of being an alternative.

This was not Miller’s first golf attempt. The NHL All-Star told 93.7 the fan who has played in at least three qualifiers in the past.

Miller also admitted that the nerves played a role on Tuesday.

“Today, in the first green, I couldn’t even hold the putter,” he said through NHL.com. “So, I convinced myself that it wouldn’t be so. But I think the first changes are like that.”

While Miller thanks, he could hit the golf for “one day”, he does not seem interested in making a permanent career change.
“I had the opportunity to play for a day,” said Miller. “I know who I am playing. I am a competitive guy, so I maintain realistic expectations. I am happy with myself.”
The Rangers did not qualify for the 2025 playoffs.
