Prince William reflected on his “worst pain” in the memory of his late mother, Princess Diana, in a recent charity event.
The Prince of Wales delivered the speech at a private dinner held at Windsor Castle on Tuesday, where he marked the 30th anniversary of one of his oldest sponsorships.
William, who lost his mother in a car accident in Paris when he was only 15 years old, described the pain as “the worst pain that any child will endure” while heading to the meeting.
“While we cannot prevent these losses, we can make sure that all kinds of support and care of experts are provided, to help reconstruct the lives of those affected,” added William, who has been patron of the beneficial organization since 2009.
The beneficial organization, which helps families deal with the loss, was founded by Diana’s nearby friend, Julia Samuel, now a godmother of Prince George.
The father of three children also addressed the fusion of childhood influence in the United Kingdom with another similar charity of Winston, saying that the measure would ensure that its joint impact could be extended to the “growing demand.”
“I have also seen the growing need for support of this type, and it is due to this growing demand that I am delighted that the desire for child grieving and Winston’s desire are joining strength to expand its impact.”
In a final note, the Prince of Wales added: “They have recognized that together they can do much more, and congratulate both of them to take this bold step to reach more people and help reduce the long -term challenges that the unresolved pain can cause.”
The newly fused organization will retain the name of Child Breavement UK and the Prince will continue to be a patron.
