The recent Alto El Fuego concluded several days of cross -border hostilities that marked the most severe military escalation between Pakistan and India in almost three decades. The conflict began after India carried out air attacks in Pakistan, after a April 22 attack in Iiojk that killed 26 tourists.
Pakistan denied any participation in the Kashmir Incident and condemned the attacks of India, which Islamabad claimed directed civil areas. In response, Pakistan launched a retaliation military operation called “Operation Bunyan-Un-Marsus”, aimed at Indian military sites in several regions.
