Trevor Bauer asks MLB after the reincorporation of Pete Rose

The former Baseball Large Leagues (MLB), Trevor Bauer, took the reinstatement of Pete Rose as another way to hit the league.

The controversial pitcher published on social networks on Wednesday, only one day after MLB announced that Rose and other deceased players were taken from the permanently ineligible list, to continue taking shots in the league, since he remains outside it.

“So, since Pete is welcome now, is that for all who have been black?” Bauer asked in X. “Or do you really have to be guilty of something to qualify for that?”

Bauer is currently launching in the Japan Nippon Professional Baseball League. He has been out of MLB during the last four years.

The reason why it revolves around the accusations of sexual aggression that were raised against him in 2021. MLB initially placed Bauer with administrative license, but then 324 games was suspended before reducing it to 194 games after an appeal.

His suspension can be up, but no MLB team has brought Bauer back to the Redile. Bauer has never been one to avoid sharing his thoughts, and he wouldn’t do it in this case.

Bauer suggested last August that MLB is the reason why he cannot sign with another team, not because a team does not believe that his talent is still there to act at the level of major leagues.

The congressman says that MLB is expelling Trevor Bauer due to Trump’s support, in a letter to Rob Manfred

“Well, a team told us that it is not his decision, it is a decision of MLB,” Bauer wrote in X at that time. I was exchanging with the fans of the Cincinnati Reds on the social media platform.

“A team told me that it was ‘too expensive’ even though I offered to play for minimal, another team told us that they had covered some things in the past in which they do not want the media to find out …” Bauer added.

An MLB spokesman said in a statement to Mail Sport that Bauer could sign with any of the 30 ball clubs.

“Trevor Bauer served all of his discipline and is an unrestricted free agent available to sign a contract with any team,” reads the statement.

Bauer was never accused of a crime. His accuser sought a restriction order against him, but was denied. Los Angeles prosecutors said in February 2022 that there were not enough evidence to demonstrate women’s accusations beyond reasonable doubt.

Bauer sued his accuser in a federal court in April 2022, a measure that occurred less than three months after prosecutors decided not to present criminal charges against the pitcher.

Another woman from Columbus, Ohio, told the Washington Post that Bauer drowned her repeatedly without her consent and sexually assaulted her in the course of a relationship of years. Bauer, in a statement through his representatives, said his relationship was “casual and totally agreed.”

Bauer spent the 2023 campaign in NPB in Japan, while playing for Red Devils of Mexico in March 2024.
