Garmin has announced the launch of two new watches, the Garmin Forerunner 570 and Garmin Forerunner 970, along with a new Garmin HRM 600 heart rate monitor. The two watches have the ‘most brilliant Garmin screen of Garmin so far’ and other new features in the Forerunner series, such as a speaker and a microphone, which allows you to receive calls during an execution during an execution. Night to add to the functionality of the existing morning report of Garmin.
Keep reading to see our initial impressions and if they will be worthy of a place in our best Garmin watch list.
Garmin Forerunner 570
The Forerunner 570 Gamrin is priced at $ 549.99 / £ 459.99 / AU $ 999 for 42 mm and $ 549.99 / £ 459.99 / AU $ 999 for the largest 47 mm clock too. With 11 days of battery life in smartwatch mode (the shortest of any clock in the latest generations of precursors) has a selection of new color combinations, including gray slate aluminum, raspberry aluminum and blue aluminum in the cloud, all with new translucent silicone bands.
In addition to the brightest screen so far, the nightly report and the speaker/microphones combo, the clock seems to share a large amount of DNA with the rest of the Forerunner line. This includes access to Garmin Coach training programs, health metrics, such as a skin temperature oximeter sensor, and the usual design of five Garmin buttons.
Unlike many of the other best Garmin watches, there is no solar option with a more opaque memory screen in pixel to preserve the battery life. You are caught with a maximum of 11 days, which is likely to be realistically exceeded in just over a week with repeated GPS training.
Garmin Forerunner 970
The Garmin Forerunner 970 comes in one size, 47 mm, with a price of $ 749.99 / £ 629.99 / AU $ 1,399, with a 1.4 -inch AMOLED screen that retains that most brilliant ‘distinction. It lasts up to 15 days in smartwatch mode: an improvement with respect to 570, but it seems that screen technology stinks more battery life than other precursors before.
The 970 includes all the characteristics of 570, with additions, including the LED light seen in the Garmin Epix Pro and Garmin Instinct 3. The new metric watches include Econning Economy, Step Speed Loss (which require that the new Garmin HRM 600 function) and the tolerance of the execution, which informs you about the limits of your body and recommends a weekly mileage. It sounds like a useful feature worthy of one of the best running watches.
It also has the functionality of ECG, more Premium materials, such as sapphire glass in the lens, and comes in different colors, including soft gold titanium and DLC titanium of carbon gray. Clearly, Garmin wanted to evoke a little more luxury here.
Garmin HRM 600
HRM 600 is the last and best heart rate monitor in Garmin, with a price of $ 169.99 / £ 149.99 / AU $ 299. It is compatible with the two new previous precursors to allow its measurement of expanded execution dynamics, as well as other smart watches, Garmin cycling computers or can be used alone.
He is able to send rhythm and distance data (only interior training), steps, time and calories burned to Garmin Connect, which allows him to synchronize his training with his smart watch. This can be done for greater precision, or during training where it is not appropriate to use a smart watch, such as boxing or climbing.
