Ulema declares on Friday ‘Gratitude Day’


Islamabad:

The Ministry of Religious Affairs held a conference of the National Council of Ulema and Mashaikh on Thursday and brought together prominent religious academics from all over the country.

The conference presented broad discussions on the National Law of Ulema and Mashaikh of the Ulema and Mashaikh Council. In a remarkable development, participants approved the English translation of the Sacred Koran, and the official launch of a dedicated mobile application of the Qur’an also took place during the event.

The conference concluded with a unanimous decision to observe today as Yom-E-Tashakur (day of gratitude) and Yom-E-Pakistan.
