We have reviewed most of the best bird feed cameras, and they are the type of technology that we can really support, literally approaching nature by offering a close -up view of the visitors of their feathered gardens.
Designed to be left on situ for months and even years later, bird feed cameras light when they detect the movement, providing a live view and capturing videos of their Garden Birdlife. The novelty of the remote view and bird notifications do not disappear.
However, to date there has been an area in which most bird feed cameras fall short, even our favorite options as the friend of birds, and that is the quality of the image, but that could change with the new Beako Kiwibit.
After the Camojojo, which we are still to try, the Kiwibit records true 4K video and fixed 8MP images, that is much more detail than is currently possible with our first -level bird feed cameras, which reach half of the resolution.
And that’s not all. There are some quite ingenious design features that we have not seen before, and that could make Kiwibit one of the most versatile bird feeder cameras available.
Designed for any garden
Like most of the bird’s feed cameras today, the intemperie resistant kiwibit is armed with bird recognition with AI, informing him what birds have visited from a database greater than 10,000 species, in addition to being combined with a solar panel for continuous energy.
It also has pest deterrence, which are especially useful if squirrels frequent their garden. However, these characteristics are not new, and the kiwibit goes one step further than most, with multiple assembly options.
In addition to the usual wall and tree assembly options, Kiwibit presents a post support in its lower part, which means that it can be placed independently anywhere in its garden without the need for something to unite it, ordered.
But that’s not all. The seed tray is removable for easy cleaning, in addition to the entire 1.5L twin seed compartment can be removed for easy recharges and cleaning. There is also adjustable flow control to limit the amount of seed in the tray.
As for the characteristics, it seems that the Beako Kiwibit has not left stone without moving, even if the integrated solar panel of the FEATHERSNAP explorer looks more slippery, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is only 2.4GHz.
Initially, the Kiwibit will be launched only in the USA, on Amazon and the Beako website, on May 20, with an initial agreement of $ 167.99 available.
