- Rx 9060 XT of AMD will probably be revealed on May 21 after a teaser on its page X
- This will come after the NVIDIA RTX 5060 launch on May 19
- RADEON RX 9060 XT is expected to go on sale in June
It is almost the week of Computex 2025, where Nvidia and AMD will be in the center of the stage with key notes that show a new hardware, and Team Red seems ready to eclipse their rival in the budget GPU market.
AMD confirmed through an X publication that will reveal the play plans and AI in Computex 2025 on May 21. In particular, the image (in the photo below) shows a render of a new Radeon GPU, which is more likely that the alleged RX 9060 xt. Like the RX 9070 XT counterpart, Team Red also confirms that it will not sell any reference card, which means that the new GPU will only be available for consumers through the Board members.
There will be two variants of RX 9060 XT, one with 8 GB of VRM and the other with 16 GB; It is rumored that the former has a lower availability in the launch, which is expected to be in June. It has been made clear that some players do not want 8GB GPU, considering their inability to handle games that graphically demand and their performance standards in higher resolutions.
It is worth noting that the launch of GPU RTX 5060 8GB of NVIDIA is scheduled for May 19, which could be mentioned in its key note on the same date. The important thing is that the RTX 5060 will not have a separate variant (at least what we know so far), while the rival RX 9060 XT does. Leave the red team in the pole position to potentially eclipse Nvidia with its May 21 presentation.
However, the price will be the decisive factor for both, since consumers expect each GPU to have low -unqualable low costs, but the market trend says otherwise.

Inflation could be another blow to the new AMD Radeon GPU
Long before the recent US rates. UU., Third -party GPUs have been established above the launch price on multiple retailers, and I hope this trend continues with the new AMD Radeon GPU.
Since you will not sell any reference card, consumers will have to trust retailers selling partner cards once again, and it is safe to say that it has not turned out well. The Radeon RX 9070 XT was sold to the players at their retail price, but only for a limited time, since prices suddenly increased leaving the GPU in a less attractive position (since the launch price of $ 599 was a strong point of sale).
As much as I don’t want to see 8GB GPUs, we must not stop that for now with the 8GB variant. The only way I see that it is a success is whether the price is or less than $ 200, since it can still be a competent card for 1080p budget players. I would love to prove that he is wrong, but I don’t think we are going to see that because retailers constantly increase prices (regardless of AMD prices revelation in Computex 2025).
I think it is one of the worst moments that a low -end GPU could launch without a reference card: I just hope that consumers waiting for the launch have the opportunity to have one of the hands before inflation takes care …
