The Immigration of the FIA has issued a policy guide for the arrest of persons involved in crimes in airports, underlining a strong coordination between the agencies of application of the law to prevent suspects from fusing abroad.
According to the guide, the names and details of suspects or people at risk of fleeing abroad must be placed on the stop list, the passport control list or the Departure Control List of the Interior Ministry and the General Directorate of Passport and Immigration.
The Immigration of the FIA will be authorized to detain these people in airports, lands and maritime routes, he says. The guide emphasizes that the implementation must be guaranteed under laws and regulations.
IG of the Punjab Police has issued orders to the heads of police units, regions and districts throughout the province to strictly implement the guide, according to a two -page document seen by the Express PAkGazette.
“The General Directorate of Immigration and Passports, Islamabad and the Interior Ministry, Islamabad, are the only authorities to place or eliminate PCL and ECL names,” the document said.
