Scott McLaughlin had a heartbreaking practice experience at Indy 500 on Sunday. His car went in the air after he crashed into the wall on the track just before the qualification of Pole Day.
The video showed that the car slipped and turned along the track after the hard collision with the wall before finally stopping. McLaughlin is not the first driver to turn.

“Yes, I’m fine,” McLaughlin said. “I am really, I am very sorry for everyone in the Penske team, the boys in car #3 and all those who build these fantastic cars. He (the car) was talking to me and felt somehow and I should probably have backed down. But you try to complete a race to see how you feel.
Shortly before the accident, McLaughlin managed to boost the top of the lists in Fast 12 practice. The disastrous moment occurred during turn 2 on Sunday.

The left breeding wheel suffered visible and serious damage immediately after the impact. The racing line next to Turn 2’s exit stayed with a notable gouge. There was a unemployment in the action and the equipment deployed to make repairs.
The safer barrier also suffered considerable damage.
McLaughlin, the 500 INDY poles ITTER last year, will not participate in the Fast 12 qualification. Therefore, McLaughlin’s official initial position in the Indy 500 grid will be number 12.
