Islamabad:

The general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, warned India against the water of arms, saying that it could unleash consequences echoing generations, since New Delhi threatens to stop the water flow of the Indo river in the midst of ascending tensions.

Speaking in an interview with Arab News, Lieutenant of DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry warned that any movement of India to block Pakistan’s water would cross a red line.

“He is a madman who may think that he can stop water from more than 240 million people in this country,” he said.

“I hope that moment does not arrive, but they will be such actions that the world will see and the consequences that we will fight during the years and decades to come. No one dares to stop Pakistan’s water.”

The acute comments are produced following the unilateral suspension of India of the Indo Water Treaty of decades last month, after a deadly attack against tourists in illegally occupied Indians Jammu and Cashmira (Iiojk), which New Delhi blamed Pakistan, an affirmation of Islamabad has categorically denied.

Since then, the region has been pushed once again on the edge. In early May, India launched a flood of cross -border attacks, not only through the control line (LOC) but also in the continent of Pakistan, claiming that he was aimed at militant hiding places.

Pakistan replied, pointing to 26 Indian military sites before a high US negotiation fire stopped operations on May 10.

However, calm has remained fragile. The declaration of the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, this week, India would cut the waters of the Indus that flows to Pakistan has revived the fears of climbing. For Islamabad, such movement is equivalent to an act of war.

Despite the fire, the DG ISPR said that Pakistan is still committed to peace, but with very open eyes.

“Pakistan’s armed forces are professional armed forces and we adhere to the commitments we make, and we continue in the letter and spirit the instructions of the political government and the commitments they have,” he said.

“With regard to Pakistan’s army, this high fire will be maintained easily and there have been confidence construction measures in communication between both sides,” he added.

From the truce, both nations have accused of rapes of high fire, a round trip family that runs the risk of leaning balance once again. Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan’s response has been proportional and precise.

“If any violation occurs, our answer is always there … but it is only aimed at those positions and those positions from which the rapes of the high fire occur. We never go to civilians. We never headed to any civil infrastructure.”

The DG ISPR revealed that India lost six aircraft, including the raffles built by the French and a 2000 Mirage, as well as a precious Russian manufacturing S-400 air defense system, during the four-day exchange.

The previous reports had put the number in five, but Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirmed the sixth defeat this week.

“I can confirm that the sixth plane is a Mirage 2000,” said Lieutenant General Chaudhry. “We just attack the plane … we could have taken more, but we show restriction,” he said.

Looking towards the future, Chaudhry warned that the spectrum of renewed conflicts will continue to chase the region unless the central problem, Kashmir, is approached in front.

“Your Kashmir policy is not working,” he said. “Until the moment the Indians do not sit and talk about Kashmir, then (like) two countries we sit down, and find a solution, the conflict potential is there.”

‘Peace is our first priority’

Separately, in a firm withdrawal of regional erroneous perceptions, the ISPR DG said Pakistan is not a belligerent actor but a country that values peace especially.

“We are not a violent nation, we are a serious nation. Our first priority is peace,” said Lieutenant General Chaudhry to RT Arabic in an interview, as reported by PTV News.

“The great and sensible powers as the United States understand better what the spirit of the people of Pakistan is,” he added.

Making the layers of the high fire negotiations from the retaliation operation of Pakistan Bunyan-Un-Marshus, Lieutenant General Chaudhry revealed that the initial call to the truce came from the Indian side.

According to him, the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of India had “personally requested a high fire.”

“We want peace and stability, so we said, why not?” It was summoned by PTV News.

Recognizing the preliminary diplomatic work behind the agreement, the military spokesman praised the role of the Pakistani diplomats who seized the occasion with “great wisdom and extraordinary.”

“Pakistan, with great maturity, responded quickly, firmly and effectively, forcing the enemy to face reality,” he said, referring to the fall of five Indian air planes in retaliation for the mortal attacks of India during the night of May 6 to 7.

“The Nation and the armed forces of Pakistan joined as an unbreakable wall,” he said.

By counting the tense events from May 9 to 10, Lieutenant General Chaudhry described how the conflict approached a boiling point as both parties participated in a sample of force. He said India shot more missiles during the night in an attempt to intimidate Pakistan, but underestimated the resolution of the nation.

“The enemy triggered more missiles on May 9 and 10 to scare us. India forgot that the Nation of Pakistan and its forces do not lean or can be done to lean. On the morning of May 10, we responded, pointing only to its military goals with the greatest responsibility and caution,” he said.

“Not a single civil objective was harmed; it was an appropriate, fair and balanced response,” he emphasized.

‘India rejected the logical neutral probe’

As for the origins of the conflict, the ISPR DG emphasized that understanding the complete context of Pakistan-India tensions requires examining the widest backdrop.

“India is hiding behind a false narrative to hide the truth,” he said, referring to the Pahalgam incident. He pointed out that although the Indian media began to accuse Pakistan a few minutes away from the event, his own Ministry of Foreign Affairs admitted two days after the investigations were still underway.

“Where is the wisdom of making accusations without research and evidence?” He questioned.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry stressed that the Pakistani government had adopted a position of principles by offering cooperate with a neutral and impartial investigation, a proposal that was dismissed by New Delhi.

“India rejected this logical offer and, acting unilaterally, dismissed missiles to our mosques, children, women, women and the elderly,” he said.

Affirming the unwavering commitment of the military, the head of ISPR stressed that defending the territorial integrity of the nation remains a sacred confidence.

“The sacred responsibility entrusted to the armed forces of Pakistan is to protect the sovereignty and borders of the country,” he said, added that the forces had fulfilled this duty and “would continue to do so at all costs.”

The ISPR DG also reiterated long -standing concerns about the alleged role of India in the destabilization of Pakistan through undercover terrorism.

“India is the true sponsor of continuous terrorism in Pakistan, whether the Khawarij groups or active terrorists in Baluchistan,” he said, explicitly referring to the forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as Fitna al Khawarij.
