Android 16 could begin to be expelled to the masses within next month, and signs of another new imminent feature hidden in the platform code have been seen: an iOS waiting mode version for Telephones driven by Google.
This has been seen by Android Authority and refers to the hidden code in the services of Android 16 Beta and Google Play. The key reference is to launch “state -friendly” device content, which strongly suggests phones and tables in waiting mode.
If you are not familiar with the waiting mode in iOS, it shows a clock and other widgets on the iPhone screen when placed horizontally and loaded. Combine it with a Magsafe charger, and essentially converts an iPhone blocked on an intelligent screen.
While Google’s evidence that does something similar with Android 16 is quite mild at this time, it would make sense that something like this is introduced: it is a useful feature, as demonstrated by the third -party waiting options for Android.
Loaders and centers
Another piece of puzzle is the Qi2 load standard, which will bring a wireless load experience similar to MAGSAFE to Android phones. The support for this is limited at this time, but more Android phones are expected for Qi2 within next year.
It also seems that Google is preparing to add a waiting button to the Android interface, again as indicated by the hidden code, and it seems that the display configuration will be developed at the top of the existing concentration mode available on the Google Pixel tablet.
Many more characteristics are expected in Android 16, depending on what Google has already told us, what is now available in the beta software and what has been seen in leaks. We know that the software will come with an updated appearance and new security and battery functions.
