Scottie Scheffler was pumped after securing the first PGA championship of her career.
Scheffler threw his hat to the green in Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina, while celebrating the main tournament with a low torque. He approached his family and hugged his wife, son and parents while congratulating him.

Adrenaline must have taken to celebrate the Wanamaker trophy. Scheffler lifted the hardware piece too awkwardly, and the trophy cover fell from the top and hit the ground.
He laughed, like the rest of the fans who saw the ceremony occur.
Collin Morikawa had the same mistake when he won the PGA championship in 2020.

“They told me it was heavy. They didn’t tell me that the lid came out,” said the golfer on Wednesday before the tournament began, through Golf.com. “But it is much heavier than you expect. And then they tell you to lift it on your head.”
Scheffler shot a final round 71 to ensure the third important victory of his career.

He had some first holes and allowed Jon Rahm to enter dispute. However, he locked himself while Rahm fell off the rhythm in the nine behind.
“These nine will be one that I remember for a long time,” Scheffler said. “It was a routine out there. I think that at a time on the front I might have an advantage of four or five shots, and making the turn, I think I was tied by leadership.
