Broadcom hit by the theft of employee data after violating in the supply chain

  • Business Systems House was violated in September
  • It is a commercial partner of ADP, who attended Broadcom at a time
  • Now, Broadcom’s sensitive files seem to have emerged on the dark website

The clients of the Broadcom global semiconductor giant have leaked their confidential data in the dark network after a two -step supply chain attack. Apparently, a company called Business Systems House (BSH), a Human Capital Management Services (HCM) supplier of the Middle East, suffered a ransomware attack in September 2024, in which a group known as El Dorado (later renowned as Blacklock), stole its files.

This firm is a commercial partner of the ADP payroll that, in turn, worked with Broadcom. In fact, the chip giant was in the process of changing payroll suppliers when the incident occurred, which means that it almost dodged that bullet.
