LAHORE:
Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the annual development program of 12 districts in the province.
He presided over a meeting attended by all the Division Commissioners and Commissioners of the entire province in which the annual development programs of the district were reviewed together with the beautification initiatives and the anti-entrepreneurial operations.
Development programs for the remaining districts will be reviewed on Tuesday.
The prime minister said on the occasion: “Eliminating invasions and maintaining the cleaning standard is a great challenge. Commissioners and DCs have been given total freedom to fulfill their functions. No one is allowed to influence their decisions. The members of the Assembly also appreciate the improvement in all social sectors and others in their districts.”
He added: “Integral repression against corruption must be carried out to select it permanently. It was decided to guarantee a sustainable increase in roads, markets and bazaars of all Tehsils in the province.”
She ordered the officials to build the Rickshaw model is in all cities.
He also ordered them to guarantee the payment to the land acquisition owners to market rates and to monitor CCTV of recovered government lands after the elimination of invasions.
The prime minister ordered the establishment of sports areas and urban forests in the recovered government lands and available in the Punjab cities.
She ordered the administration officers to make daily visits to guarantee the elimination of invasions together with the inspection of the lane marking on the roads to avoid temporary invasions.
She ordered the elimination of electricity posts and the construction of tomb paths along the newly built roads.
The main minister ordered the transfer of grain, fruits and vegetables markets outside the cities along with his edifying uniform. She ordered the officials to install planters and lighting of issues in aerial bridges.
