Naughty Dog is developing a second game not announced together with Intergalactic: the prophet heretic.
That is according to The last of us The creative director, Neil Druckmann, who shared the last episode of Press X to continue with Podcast (through VGC) that he is acting as a producer in the mysterious game while working in Intergalactic as director.
“There is another game in which you are working in Naughty Dog, where I am in more than a producer role and I can mentor, I see this other team and give comments and be the executive in the room,” Druckmann said. “I enjoy all those roles, and the fact that jumping from one to another makes my work very exciting and whenever you feel fresh. I am never bored.”
Druckmann also confirmed who is working on Intergalactic Next to him, including two game directors, Matthew Gallant and Kurt Margenau, as well as coguionist Clair Carré.
“So there are times when I am out and are in charge, and I can return and surprise myself and enjoy certain elections they did, and others take my hair and we have to change course or discuss that.”
VGC said this means Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Director Shaun plaster and The last of us: Part 2 Director Anthony Newman is currently not tied to any announced title, which suggests that they could be working on the new mysterious project.
