MSI showed its latest game hardware in Computex 2025, and the Games Monitor X50 MPG 272QR QD and the Meg Vision X AI game desktop stole much of the show among the attendees, thanks to its integration of artificial intelligence that promises a more receptive and conscious game experience of the users.
Starting with the MSI MPG 271QR QD-Oled X50, the last 1440p game monitor of MSI combines an 500Hz update rate, pixel response time of 0.03 ms, 99% of DCI-P3 color range coverage, Vesa ClearMR 21000 and Black Black 50 True Black 50 certification and improvements of AI-P3.
In the center is the IA screen sensor, a system that uses a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) and a CMOS sensor to detect human presence every 0.2 seconds.
This hardware allows the monitor dynamically to adjust the brightness and activate the OLED protection characteristics based on the user’s activity, instead of interrupting the user’s experience with the necessary maintenance of the OLED panel.
In practice, this means that when the human presence is not detected, the system feeds the screen or allows OLED care when necessary, helping to keep energy and avoid burns.
Complementing this is MSI’s browser, a unified interface that centralizes the control of all the IA configurations. Redule the adjustments for optimal performance, ensuring that users take advantage of their hardware with a minimum manual adjustment.
Together with the monitor, MSI also introduced the MSI Meg Vision X AI of Second Generation, a powerful game desktop introduced for the first time in Computex 2024 that is designed with improved performance adjustment with AI and a complete human interface touch screen (HMI).
Some of the characteristics of AI incorporated in the PC is a system that automatically manages fan speeds, power configuration and cooling based on real -time use data, with the aim of offering a response and efficiency capacity.
The HMI has been given a new and simplified interface that MSI calls the EZ mode, which makes the HMI system more intuitive for users, especially those that may not be the type of advanced users used to equip their PC with several tools and hardware monitoring utilities.
In addition, the Meg Vision X AI has the ability to connect to select MSI monitors and control the OSD menu of a monitor, allowing you to adjust things like shine, colored prejustment and more, from the 13 -inch screen in the front of the PC.
Vision X AI HMI can also detect when using certain types of applications and adjust configurations, funds and widgets HMI accordingly, such as increasing performance mode when you are playing a game and showing performance metrics such as FPS and GPU load. While the switching is automatically performed by default, you can also change between them manually if you wish, and even assign certain applications to the different ways
