- Google Lanza Python Adk V.1.0.0 and Java Adk V.0.1.0
- His agent to agent communication has also been improved
- Python SDK for A2A makes it even easier to manage communications between agents
Google has announced a series of updates to its AI agents hoping that they feel more simplified as efficient colleagues, instead of tools used by colleagues.
“We imagine a future in which intelligent agents are not only tools, but collaborative partners to solve complex challenges, rationalize workflows and unlock new possibilities,” said Polong Lin products manager and the cloud defender developer of Cloud Ai Holt Skinner in a blog post.
The latest updates focus on the improved agents and improved agent to agent communication: a sign of AI becomes even more autonomous.
Google wants to make ia agents more autonomous
The technological giant has improved its agents development kit (ADK) to include a new launch of V.1.0.0 ready and stable V.1.0.0 of its Python Adk, which it says is already used by Renault Group, Box and Revionics. To coincide with this stable launch, Google has also confirmed its first release of the Java Adk V0.1.0.
In terms of management, recognizing that the AI VERTEX agent engine has already helps developers to implement, manage and climb to production agents, Google has also launched its agent user interface for a better management of the agent’s life cycle.
The key features of the new user interface of the Google Cloud console include a board to administer implemented agents, metric such as applications and use of CPU, session and tracking management, and implementation details with purification tools.
More improvements have also been confirmed to the Agent2agent (A2A) protocol, including V0.2, which provides interaction support without state for light communications and standardized authentication using a scheme similar to Openopi. A Python SDK has also been launched for A2A to facilitate the communication of agent to agent into Python -based agents.
Eager to show the power of A2A, Google boasted auth0 support, Box AI, Microsoft, SAP and Zoom.
“These advances in our ADK, the agents engine and the A2A protocol are designed to provide a comprehensive and flexible platform to give life to their most ambitious projects promoted by the agent,” said Lin and Skinner.
