President Donald Trump was surrounded by multiple “winners” on Tuesday.
Trump was the host of the male basketball team at the University of Florida to commemorate his national championship won at the beginning of last month, and near the front of the stage was the legend of UF Tim Tebow.
Trump saw the former field marshal and took a moment to praise him, all while taking a chance to separate one of his old teams.

“And a very special thanks to the NFL legend and the University of Florida. I mean, one of the best players I have seen,” Trump said about Tebow. “I will tell you what, as a university player, maybe the best of all. And you did very well. And you also did very well in professionals. It was great. Despite being in the jets, you did very well.”
Tebow was recruited 25ยบ in general by the Denver Broncos in 2010, and in its second season, he found the late Demaryius Thomas in a 88 -yards in extra time of the NFL playoffs.
However, Denver signed Peyton Manning in the low season, which led the team to change it to Gang Green. His role with the jets was very discussed, and the coaches said they would use it both in special equipment and in a formation of wild cats. It lasted only one season, during which he had only eight pass attempts and never played a NFL field again.

But, Tebow’s university success has no parallel.
He won two national championships and lost in a third. He also won the Heisman trophy.
“He is an excellent guy. He is an excellent guy. He is a winner. Chico, he was a winner. You won two, right? And you almost won a third. No one did that. I think he really leaves as one of the best, maybe the best university football player. If you think about that, we can only base him on results, right?”? ” Trump continued.

After playing football, Tim Tebow joined the minor leagues system of the New York Mets in 2016. He played in the minors until 2019 and played in spring training in 2020 before the pandemic canceled the minor leagues season. He hung the metal peaks in 2021 before signing with the Jaguars as a closed wing, joining Urban Meyer, but did not make the team.
