Ryan Blaney will be at the wheel of the Penske No. 12 team for Coca-Cola 600 with the Bodyarmos cold beverages stamped on the hood of his vehicle. The colleague of the Blaney Cup series, Kyle Larson, will try to make “the double”.
“The Double” is one of the most difficult exploits that any racing driver could try to do during his career. It implies running the Indy 500 and then flying on a plane to Charlotte for Coca-Cola 600. Larson became one of the five pilots to try “double” last year, but could not reach Nascar’s career.
Blaney told Pak Gazette Digital that he was “ordered” to see Larson try last year.
“It’s the biggest day in racing,” Blaney said. “You have Monaco Early, then you got Indy, and then we finished it with 600. I get up and look at Monaco in the morning, I encouraged the Penske Guys for 500 and then I prepared to go to the race. I think it’s a great feat. It was ordered that you do it last year did not really do it with rain and things like that, it’s a cistern. Everything.”

Conor Daly seeks to record his name in more than only Indy 500 History
An attempt of “The Double” seemed to arouse Blaney’s interest since the Penske team has pilots competing in the Indy 500.
“But yes, it is something that I have always considered,” Blaney said. “You never know, maybe in the future if I have the opportunity. I am with a great team that has the opportunity to do it, but we’ll see. We will never know it, we will resolve it.”
Larson, John Andretti, Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon and Kurt Busch have tried the feat. Stewart was the only group in the group to complete both races the same day.
No pilot has won any of the races while making the attempt.
Larson expects the changes to arrive on Sunday.
